Card Binders

As a lifelong Pokémon fan, discovering that I could create custom binders was a strange epiphany.

I'd never really created in this manner before. Historically, my work has been driven by atmosphere—dark fantasy, folklore, old books, and things that feel pulled from forgotten places.

Pokémon didn't seem like it belonged in that world.

Then I realized I could simply combine the two.

Pokémon can be dark fantasy.

Anything can be dark fantasy.

Aesthetic isn't confined to a subject. It's a lens. A way of seeing.

Once I understood that, an entirely new category of projects opened up to me.
